Throughout my life so far I have always been labelled as a “frivolous person (無聊人)”. Despite I have always thought this can’t be further away from the truth, I start to get used to the idea and in fact I have been a happier person ever since. The origin started from an evening in the last millennium. Back then an average undergraduate would not have his or her own laptop or computer and I, among many others, would be doing emails and chats via our sable accounts at “UNIX” in a common room. I had a stare at my friend’s screen next to me, who clearly was chatting to another person on computer about me and my other friends, and have been referred to a phrase of “those five mo liu (無聊) people” (exact quote). This guy, who is still my friend as of today, apologized and while I was not mad at him at all (could not say the same to the other “lady” on the other end), I started to realise my true impression to some of the people.
I guess I am just a lazy person compared to those “study hard, work hard and play hard” persons, and I am more than happy to keep things this way. I am a typical Hongkie (Hong Kong Person) even though I spent almost 14 years of my life in UK. I have a few hobbies, which are no different to anyone else although I enjoy chatting (and usually I don’t need the aid of alcohol to be vocal) and writing more than anything. Despite I am an IT idiot and virtually I can’t type Chinese, I am hoping to share with people some of my experiences and views on travel, movies, music, lifestyle and things so here I am starting my blog.
Apologies to those who think they have just wasted a precious few minutes (or seconds) of their lives to read the above, and that is the pretty thing about internet that you can choose what to read (well except for certain geographical exceptions). You should move away now if you are already bored or sick of this introduction and have fun at your browsing elsewhere!
